Sweden Introduces Online Euro Visa Fee Payments
Applicants who apply for a Schengen visa through VFS Global’s Sweden visa application centers need to pay their visa fees online in euros on the day they submit their application, starting from October 15, 2026.
With the new process, people who have appointments on or after that date must bring a valid credit card that can be used for international transactions to make the payment.
Applicants should check that their cards can be used for foreign currency payments before their appointment to prevent any delays in paying.
