The procedure applies to applicants holding a Nulla Osta, Italyβs work authorisation document. The webform, linked to the Italy visa application process through VFS Global, requires applicants to register and upload clear PDF copies of their passport bio-data page and Nulla Osta.
After successful submission, applicants receive a web reference number by email. They must then wait for further instructions, which may request corrections or payment of the VFS service fee. Payment must be completed within 72 hours of document acceptance. Applicants cannot submit their visa applications without receiving payment confirmation through the portal.
The portal allows applicants to select Dhaka, Chittagong or Sylhet as their submission location. The VFS service fee is paid online, whereas the consular visa fee must be paid at the application counter.
Applicants should carefully check their personal details before submitting the form, as any errors may require them to restart the registration process. The guidelines also differentiate applications based on the date the Nulla Osta was issued. Documents issued before 22nd October 2024 are still subject to the previous email-based appointment request procedure and verification by Italian authorities.
Applicants can register through the official webform and should refer to the VFS Global guidelines before proceeding.
