  • Schedule an appointment through the Luxembourg Visa Application Center, India website. Visit the VAC on your scheduled date and submit your application together with all the required documents.

  • If necessary, an authorised representative may submit your application on your behalf. However, you must notify the embassy beforehand that someone else will be submitting your application.

During your application submission, you must pay your Luxembourg Self-Employed Person visa fee in cash at the VAC. Additional VAC and service charges also apply.

No, first you have to obtain a temporary residence permit and maintain continuous legal residence for 5 years, then you can apply for permanent residency.

What happens if my business is not successful?

If your business doesn’t succeed, your residence permit will not be renewed.

Can I change the nature of my business or employment during my stay?

Any significant changes to the business activity or employment status must be reported to the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. A new application may be required if the changes affect the conditions of the residence permit.
