Taiwan Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi

Applicants must provide a few standard papers to process their Taiwan visa. The following details apply to Bangladeshis seeking a visa to Taiwan:

1. Passport

The applicant must provide a Bangladeshi original passport issued within 10 years. The passport must be valid for six months. The passport validity should follow the planned date of departure from Taiwan. Handwriting and alterations are not permitted.

2. Previous Passport

If the applicant holds previous passports, the applicant will need to show them all. If you need a Taiwan visa and any of your passports are missing, please provide a copy of your GD.

3. Visa Application Form

To get a Taiwan visa, the applicant must fill out the online application form properly. Kindly complete the form from the Taiwan immigration portal. You must fill out the application form's online version. Then, download and print it.

4. Photograph

Applicants must provide a current passport-size photograph. It must be a 45 x 35 mm photo. The photo can't be older than six months.

5. Cover Letter

Bangladeshi applicants must submit a personal letter of application for a Taiwan visa. The applicant is required to submit personal information. For example, name, designation, passport number, and purpose of travel. The letter should be addressed to the Visa Officer at the Taiwan Embassy in New Delhi. The Visa category must be mentioned in the subject line.

6. Visa Fee pay slip for Taiwan

Visa fees must be submitted by applicants. The visa fees can only be deposited in cash at the Kotak Mahindra Bank branch located in New Delhi. All bank documents about the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center must be prepared by the applicants or representatives. The applicant requires a payment slip. The slip should be delivered, along with the visa form to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center.

7. V Letter

A V letter needs to be submitted to the embassy. The V letter will work as an approval for the Taiwan visa.

8. Visa refused letter

The applicants should submit visa rejection letters if they have any. It can be from Taiwan Immigration or another nation.

9. Proof Of Occupation

• Forwarding Letter

A forwarding letter is an NOC or a LOI or any other letter from the Bangladeshi authority. The letter is formally written on the letterhead pad of the company. The letter must contain the applicant's name, designation, and passport number. It should also address the length of their visit. The letter should be written to the Visa officer at the Embassy of Taiwan in India.

• Trade License

Trade licenses should be provided by applicants who are self-employed or businessmen. The applicant must provide the trade license of their business. The Bangladesh Board of Revenue usually provides the trading license.

• Incorporation Certificate

If the applicant is a company's director, he must provide the incorporation certificate. The certificate must be from his company. The certificate will show the company's name, registration number, and incorporation date.

• Memorandum

The Bangladeshi applicant must provide the company's memorandum of organization. (If the applicant is the owner or director of the company).

• Office ID Card Copy

To get a Taiwan visa, applicants must submit a copy of their office ID card from the employer. The business may be based in Bangladesh or somewhere else.

• Visiting Card

The applicant needs to submit 3 copies of the applicant's visiting card.

• Bin Certificate

The applicant needs to submit the company Bin certificate.

• Pay Slips

Applicants need to submit the last 3 months' pay slips.

10. Financial Documents

• Personal Bank Statement

Applicants need to submit the last 6 months' Bank statement. The statement should be verified with an authorized seal and signature. The Bank Statement can be from a Bangladeshi Bank or others.

• ITR

The applicant needs to submit an ITR copy of the last 3 years to get a Taiwan visa. The ITR copy needs to be collected from the Bangladesh National Board of Revenue. 

• Company Bank Statement

The applicant needs to submit the company bank statement for the last 6 months. It will only be applicable If the company sponsors the trip.

• Company ITR

11. Air Ticket

The applicant needs to prove that they are flying to Taiwan from Bangladesh. In this case, the documents for purchasing a plane ticket that matches the duration of the trip work.

12. Hotel Reservation

A reserved hotel booking in Taiwan for the applicant’s accommodation is also needed. The applicant should mention the hotel or resort as per the schedule of the trip.

Note: If the applicant is a minor citizen, you need to submit some additional documents.

1. Birth Certificate 

The applicant needs to submit their Birth Certificate. The certificate needs to be attested by the Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This documentation proof is mandatory to get a Taiwan visa.

2. NOC from School

If the applicant is a Bangladeshi school student, they need to submit an NOC from the school.

The conference or event visa applicant needs to submit an invitation letter from the conference or event organizer in Taiwan. It should confirm the applicant's registration at the conference or event. If an applicant attends a public conference or event, they must provide their booking. It must show that the registration fees have been paid.

2. Inviter ID copy

The applicant needs to submit the inviter ID copy. That could be the invitee's Taiwan identity card.

3. Inviter Utility Bill Copy

The Inviter Utility Bill copy also needs to be submitted. An electricity bill from Taiwan or a house rent bill can be submitted as a utility bill copy.

4. Letter of Guarantee

A letter of guarantee signed by the invite is needed. The guarantee letter should be together with their ID and Taiwan company registration.

4. Inviter Utility Bill Copy

The applicant needs to provide a signed letter from the sponsor from Taiwan. The letter will confirm their sponsorship with Bangladeshi citizens.

2. Residency Status

The applicant's residency status in Taiwan needs to be submitted.

3. Invitee Employment Status

The applicant needs to submit the employment status of the invitee from Taiwan.

4. Relationship with Invitee

The applicant needs to submit the relationship proof with the invitee from Taiwan. The marriage certificate will work as relationship proof.

To get a General employment visa for Taiwan, the applicant needs to submit a passport and previous passport (if any).
