South Africa transit visa for Bangladeshi is valid only for direct transit. So, the stay permit is very short. As a Bangladeshi, you are getting two types of transit in South Africa. They are air transit and land transit.

  2. A land transit visa's maximum stay - 48-hour or 2-days.

  4. Proof of applicant onward travel, such as a valid flight ticket. 

  5. Two 35mm x 45mm sized color photos of the applicant which are taken within 1 month.

  6. An original cover letter stating why the applicant needs the transit with popper details. 

  7. Applicant’s affidavit which is issued within 3 months.

  8. Applicant’s valid visa copy for the onward destination.

Bangladeshi can reapply immediately after their South Africa transit visa refusal. No additional requirements are applicable for reapplication. The one thing they can do is update their previous supporting documents. It will ensure to get a better outcome.

If the applicant wants to appeal against a South Africa transit visa, they are eligible. The appeal must be lodged within 10 working days of the rejection. You should submit a written appeal form to the Director General via the African Consulate in Dubai. The appeal processing will take more than 6 months to a year. Once you appeal, you cannot reapply for any visa until you get your appeal review decision.
