Bangladeshi citizens with a Schengen visa don't need a separate transit visa. Romania is now a part of the Schengen agreement. So, any Schengen visa holders can simply transit through Romania airport. They just need to show their  Schengen type-C visa.

Applicants must meet the non-avoidable criteria to apply for a Romania airport transit visa.

  • Applicants should have a visa for their final destination. It proves they have no intention to enter in Romanian. 

Romania airport transit visa is valid for single and multiple entries. It depends on the applicant’s travel needs. Transit visa holders can stay in Romania for up to 5 consecutive days. Generally, multiple entry transit visas can be valid for a maximum of 6 months. 

The Romania Transit visa fee for Bangladesh is BDT 12060. The amount changes with the international EUR rate. Remember, the visa fee is non-refundable even if the visa gets denied.

The Romania transit visa takes 14 working days to process. If you provide incomplete information, the time will be extended. So, apply at least 30 days in advance.
