Thailand has launched the new Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) to replace the traditional paper-based TM6 form. This digital system is now required for all foreign nationals entering the country by air, land, or sea, except those transiting without immigration checks or entering with a Border Pass.
The TDAC aims to speed up the entry process and improve travel convenience. Visitors must submit their arrival details online within 3 days before traveling to Thailand (free of charge). The form collects personal and health information and must be completed in English only through the official portal. Travelers can choose between individual or group submissions, with the option to update information anytime before the trip—except for key details like name, passport number, nationality, and date of birth.
The new system reduces paperwork, enhances data security, and supports public health tracking. It also offers a more eco-friendly and modern travel experience. However, travelers are advised to complete the form early, as the system may face high traffic during peak seasons.
