Recently, the authorities of Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe have announced the launch of a single Schengen-style visa. This is a very clever promotional strategy to attract more visitors. This is because the visa seekers will not have to worry about applying for multiple country’s visas.
As you already know Zambia and Zimbabwe already have a joint visa called “ KAZA Univisa”. It legally permits its holders to visit Zambia and Zimbabwe for short stays. The “Single” visa is the extended form of this “ KAZA Univisa” which is going to include Angola, Botswana, and Namibia.
This step simply means that foreign travelers will not need any additional documents to visit any of these five countries if they have a valid “Single Visa”.
