Schengen Visa Fee has Increased for all Visa Applicants Worldwide

Since 11 June 2024, the Schengen visa fee has increased according to the instructions of the EU Commission. The new visa fees are now applicable from the mentioned date for all the nations worldwide.

The amount of the visa fees depends on three different age groups. Applicants from 12 years old or above need to pay 90 euros whereas children from 6 to under 12 years old need to pay 45 euros. Children under 6 years old do not need to pay any visa fees to get their Schengen visas. 

Remember, the payment needs to be made in a specific currency as instructed by the designated consulates. In this case, the amount will differ according to that day’s international currency exchange rate.
