Canada Visa Biometrics Booking System Updated

Canada visa applicants in Bangladesh will now use a new biometric appointment system introduced by VFS Global.

From 7 March 2026, biometric appointments will be managed through a new Appointment Management System (AMS) instead of the previous booking platform. Under this system, applicants must upload their Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) issued by IRCC when scheduling their biometric appointment.

The new system will allow applicants to select preferred appointment dates and times and easily reschedule or cancel appointments online.

However, passport submission procedures will remain unchanged. Applicants will still submit their passports through the Canada Visa Application Centre (VAC) after receiving a Passport Request (PPR) from IRCC.
