Bangladeshi students can now process their Romania visas from Thailand and Vietnam besides India!

Following India's suspension of visa services for Bangladeshis, Romanian embassies in Thailand and Vietnam will now issue visas for Bangladeshi students. The Romania Embassy in Bangladesh announced this on September 5, 2024.

Previously, Bangladeshi students relied on Romania's visa center in India. With the suspension, around 800 to 900 students with Romanian university offer letters faced uncertainty of joining their classes. So, the affected people protested for a quick solution. In response, the Romanian embassies in Thailand and Vietnam have agreed to process visas to allow students to proceed with their studies.
