Australian Visa Now Easier in Dhaka: VFS Launches ‘Visa at Your Doorstep’ Service
Starting 14 April 2025, the Australian Biometric Collection Centre in Dhaka is offering a new service called Visa At Your Doorstep (VAYD). This optional service, provided by VFS Global, allows Bangladeshi visa applicants to complete their biometric enrolment (photo and fingerprints) from the comfort of their home, office, or any chosen location.
Starting 14 April 2025, the Australian Biometric Collection Centre in Dhaka is offering a new service called Visa At Your Doorstep (VAYD). This optional service, provided by VFS Global, allows Bangladeshi visa applicants to complete their biometric enrolment (photo and fingerprints) from the comfort of their home, office, or any chosen location.
Previously, applicants had to visit the VFS centre in person. Now, a trained team from VFS will come to the applicant’s location with all necessary equipment. The service is ideal for families, business groups, students, and others looking for convenience.
The VAYD service costs BDT 12,000 per person, in addition to regular visa service fees. Discounts may be offered for group bookings. It can be booked online, by phone, or upon request.
To use this service, you just need to book an appointment and make the payment. After that, the VFS team will come to your chosen location to collect your photo and fingerprints. This is an optional service and does not affect your visa result or how long it takes to process.
