Japan Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi

Japan visa application requirements have some general documents needed for all types of visa applications. Whether it's for a Japanese tourist, visit, or transit visa, those documents will be commonly used in the consulate. In this list, you will get the documents required for Japan visa for Bangladeshi.

2. Valid Passport and  Photocopy

5. One Photos (2 inch X 1.4 inch)

6. Airline Booking Slip

7. Bank statement 6 months Latest (Applicant/Company)

6. Company Registration of Japanese Companies (It is called To-kibo To-hon).

7. Employment letter of Japanese Guarantor (Personal business invitation by guarantor only).

8. Document certifying your company activities (if any).

9. Brochures, leaflets, newspaper clippings, etc (if any). 

10. Visit Schedule in Japan by Guarantor.

Japan Relatives or Japan family visa requirements need some additional documents to prove the applicant's visit purpose. Here are the names of the documents listed but the consulate can ask for more documents if necessary.

1. An Invitation letter.

2. Hotel Booking during the stay in Japan/ Residence Letter from Guarantor.

3. Guarantee letter from Japan.

4. Documents certifying or explaining the relation to the guarantor (if any).

5. Guarantor's Tax certificate, Bank statement, or Income Certificate.

6. Applicant's Tax-Income certificate (if any) and Tax payment receipt.

7. Passport copy of Relative in Japan including all visa pages (If the relative is a foreigner).

8. Zairyu Card Copy of Guarantor/ Invitor.

9. Visit Schedule in Japan by Guarantor.

10. Birth Certificate of Applicant/Relative in Japan.

11. Citizen registration certificate (Jyumin-hyo)(if any).

12. Certificate of foreigner registration and passport copy (If the guarantor is a foreigner only).

13. Family Registration (Koseki-Tohon) (If the guarantor is a Japanese only) (If any)

For Sightseeing or tourism purposes, Bangladeshis need some different documents than the common ones. These documents must be provided if applicants want to prove their visit purpose in Japan. 

1. Hotel Booking document during the stay in Japan.

3. Invitation letter (if you have a guarantor).

4. Document certifying or explaining relations to the guarantor (if you have a guarantor).

5. Tax-Income certificate and payment receipt(Latest 3 years) (if any).

6.  If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan Guarantee letter.

7. Tax certificate, Bank statement, or Income certificate (any one).

8.  Citizen registration or certificate of foreigner registration and passport copy.

Japan Transit visa requires a few more documents in case any Bangladeshi wants transit in Japan Airport. Remember, no impossible or unrealistic transit visa application will be accepted. Here is the list of the documents.

3. Tax-Income certificate and Tax Payment Receipt.

If Bangladeshis visit Japan for any kind of training, they need to provide the documents below.

1. Certificate of Eligibility (COE) (sponsored by JSPS, JICA, and other governmental organizations are not required).

2. Document certifying proves the activity in Japan (if any).

3. Accept letter issued by Japanese institute (if any).

4. Employment certificate (if any).

5. Original Academic Certificates (if any).

6. Tentative schedule for Training in Japan (if any).

Any Bangladeshi visa applicants traveling to Japan for teaching or research purposes have a few document requirements mentioned below.

Bangladeshi passport holders, whose husband or wife is a Japanese citizen or permanent resident of Japan will need a few specific documents to acquire a Japanese visa. 

1. Certificate of Eligibility (COE).

2. Special Marriage Certificate, Hindu/Christian/Buddhist Marriage Registration/ Nikahnama (Bangla, English both) from Legal Marriage Registrar.

3. Family Registration, "Koseki Tohon" for spouses in Japan (Japanese only). 

4. Passport copy of Spouse living in Japan including all visa pages (Bangladeshi only) (If any).

5. Jyuminhyo of guarantor.

Bangladeshi applicants who want to stay in Japan for the long term and apply for their visa under the sponsorship of their relative will need to provide the listed documental proof.

1. Certificate of Eligibility (COE).

2. Special Marriage Certificate, Hindu/Christian/Buddhist Marriage Registration/ Nikahnama (Bangla, English both) from Legal Marriage Registrar.

3. Family certificate issued by a governmental institute from Bangladesh (if any).

4. Passport copy of spouse who is in Japan including all visa pages (if any).

5. Zairyu Card copy of guarantor/spouse. 

Japan's Official visa requirements will need a few additional documents if the applicant is from Bangladesh. 

1. Note Verbale.

2. Invitation letter, Guarantee Letter.

3. Visit schedule from Guarantor.

4. Hotel booking.

Note:

1. This is not a customized requirement for a Japan Visa. Japanese Immigration and Consular services can request any additional/supporting documents while processing visa applications.

2. One set of all documents should be provided. All documents will not be returned. So, if you are unable to submit the original document, please submit a notarized copy. However, documents issued in Japan do not require notarization.

3. Notes: COE（Certificate of Eligibility）can be submitted as a copy.

4. Photocopy must be in A4 size paper.

5. Application with incomplete submission of required documents will not be accepted.
