Indonesia Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi Citizens

Remember, Bangladeshi Diplomatic and Service passport holders do not need a visa for Indonesia so no requirement is needed for this.

General Required Documents

Indonesian visa application requires some common documents for all categories. The listed documents must be collected before visiting the Indonesian consulate. Without these documents, applicants' visa applications will be invalid. 

1. A Completed Visa Application Form.

2. Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon the date of arrival in Indonesia.

3. A copy of a valid Bangladeshi Stay Permit. 

4. Indonesia Visa Photo Requirements: One photo, colored with a white background, JPEG, passport size (100-200kb). It must be taken within the last 6 months.

5. A copy of the return flight itinerary.

6. Receipt of visa fee payment.

7. An Invitation letter (If applicable)

   • For business, conference, or meeting purposes: An attestation or reference letter from the Bangladesh-based company or institution. Also, an invitation letter from the Indonesia-based partner company or institution.

   • For humanitarian Purposes: A doctor's affidavit on sickness or death.

   • For social or family visits: An invitation letter from an Indonesia-based family or friend.

The requirements for Indonesia Single Entry Visa for Bangladeshi are only for those applicants who will enter the territory of Indonesia once within their visa validity period. This requirement is applicable for the purpose of Tourism, Business and Commercial Activities, International conferences/Meetings, Humanitarian reasons, Journalistic Activities, or Transit. Apart from the General Required Documents mentioned in the previous section, a Bangladesh to Indonesia Single Entry visa applicant needs to submit the documents below.

1. Proof of funds of at least US$2000 within the last 3 months.

2. Travel insurance which includes health financing or a statement letter of consent to pay medical expenses.

3. Statement Letter to comply with the COVID-19 protocol.

4. Proof of complete dose of Covid-19 vaccination​.

5. In-person submission.

This visa requirement is applicable for those candidates who need several visits to Indonesia for the purpose of official government activities, business or commercial activities, Tourism, and Social or Family Visit. 

• Multiple Entry visa candidates only need to collect the list of the documents that are mentioned in the General Required Documents section.

1.  A valid Medical Certificate from the local health authority and a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. These two documents must be issued within seven days before the applicant's arrival in Indonesia.

2. Required or voluntary quarantine agreement, pay for quarantine cost, agreeing to follow local laws and regulations, willingness to be monitored by the local health authorities.

3. A health insurance that covers the medical expenses (COVID-19 treatment), or a statement of willingness to pay for all the expenses that occur during the treatment.
