Hong Kong visa Requirements for Bangladeshi Citizens

1. A Bangladeshi passport and its photocopy must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.

2. Applicant’s recent photograph was taken not more than 6 months ago.

3. Applicant’s valid travel document that contains personal details, date of issue, date of expiry, and/or details of any re-entry visa held (if applicable).

4. Proof of the applicant's financial stability, such as Bank statements, Savings accounts Passbooks, Tax Receipts, etc., and Proof of employment:company leave letter, salary slips, etc (If any).

5. Proof of Transportation Arrangement such as, flight itinerary.

6. Proof of Accommodation such as Hotel booking or other means of stay.

7. Other supporting documents.

If Bangladeshis visit Hong Kong for Leisure, they need to provide documented proof.

• Proof of the proposed leisure visit to Hong Kong such as Receipt of joining a package tour to Hong Kong, Itinerary, etc.

Hong Kong Family Visit visas also need an additional document in their visa application.

• Proof of the proposed business visit to Hong Kong. This includes documents such as:

  2. An Invitation letter issued by a local company of Hong Kong.

  3. Photocopy of Business registration certificate/ trade license translated in English and notarized.

  4. A Letter issued by a trade body to confirm the applicant's attendance at trade fairs and exhibitions, etc.

A Hong Kong Transit visa also needs additional documents that show the applicants' stay duration.

• Proof of the proposed visit to the next destination after visiting Hong Kong, Itinerary, etc.

The person who is sponsoring the Hong Kong visa applicant also needs to provide some document proof. Even if Bangladeshis apply for their Hong Kong e-visa online, an online sponsor application form will need to be filled out. The sponsor must complete the form and sign it to confirm that all the information in the online application form is correct and true.
