Estonia Visa for Bangladeshi

The short-term (Schengen) Estonia visa fee is approximately BDT 13,000, while the long-term Estonia visa fee is around BDT 19,800 for Bangladeshi citizens. Please note that visa fees are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Estonian Embassy.

The standard processing time for both short-term and long-term Estonia visas is 15 to 20 working days. However, processing may take longer in certain cases if the application requires additional review or verification.

*Important Note – Visa Fee Exemption

Applicants who may be exempt from paying the Estonia visa fee include children under 6 years, eligible family members of Estonian, EU/EEA, Swiss, or UK nationals, and holders of diplomatic or service passports working with accredited foreign missions or international organizations, subject to official eligibility rules.

The easiest way is to reapply if your Estonia visa application gets rejected. In this case, read the refusal letter carefully. Find out the grounds for your visa refusal and update your documents according to that. And then reapply for your Estonia visa.

If your short-term (Schengen) Estonia visa is refused, you can appeal the decision. The appeal must be filed within 30 days from the date of the visa decision. The appeal must be written in German or English language. The applicant or a third party can appeal the decision to the Administrative Court of Berlin. It will take several weeks to review the appeal. Remember, you cannot apply for a new Estonia short-term visa application until the appeal decision comes out.

You can appeal against the long-term Estonia visa refusal within 30 days of your visa rejection. You need to submit a written application to the Estonia Embassy, in India. You need to pay an amount of euros as the fee for the appeal. The appeal letter must be in Estonian language or English. The appeal can be sent personally or through a representative. The appeal decision comes within 15 days from the day you submit your appeal. If your appeal is refused, you can submit a second appeal within 30 days of the appeal refusal notification. This time you need to appeal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for your second appeal.
