The United States has closed its Embassy in Dhaka indefinitely!

The regular consular service of the US Embassy in Dhaka has been suspended indefinitely. This reportedly happened due to Bangladesh’s current situation.

On the 13th of August 2024, the US Embassy posted on Facebook about this. They mentioned their routine consular service would remain closed until further notice. The applicants who already have an appointment are told to wait for further instructions. The Embassy also advised people to email them regarding any queries.
